The Clouds Were Thick

Untitled-2 - Copy

This morning when I got up, I looked outside the glass.
The clouds were so thick, they had swallowed the sky.
No single piece of blue, came to say hello.
All that came to greet me, was the color of indifference.
Was it a white?
Was it a gray?
What color beat down on my soul?
The sky was so hidden, it seemed easy to be forgotten.
It was there, so I hope, it was there behind the clouds;
All it needed was just a little sun, a little sun to welcome back. Untitled-2
